This slideshow illustrates the most common features of our center's accommodation, please see the explanation below.
Set in semi-forested environs, our center is roughly divided into three sections : male, female and auxiliary. Upon arrival and depending on gender and availability, yogis here are assigned one of three types of accommodation: either in a single kuti, double kuti or in a dormitory (male or female). Kutis are small houses/’huts’ with either one or two bedrooms, an open porch with a sink/kitchenette and a bathroom with toilet (western type) and shower. Dormitories usually have at least 6 rooms available, they are connected with a bigger hall like a common room with a kitchen corner as well as two toilets and two showers.
Room sizes vary but are at least 8’ by 10’. Normally rooms have a single bed (bedding provided if needed) with a mosquito net and a lower table, a chair and typically also a small rack and a hanger for clothes/robes. Both kutis as well as dormitories are furnished with few water taps and a number of electricity sockets throughout the buildings, ample sources of light as well as ceiling, wall or standing fans and electric water kettles. Part of the accessories available are also cleaning and laundry utensils and accompanying detergents etc. (those are to be managed by the yogis themselves).
Please take good care of the environment !
